Duct Cleaning — Book a Visit Today

We clean residential duct systems, supply and return runs, vents and registers for homeowners across California and Nevada, and the next step is a walkthrough where we open a few registers and look inside before anyone quotes work. What usually brings us out is dust that keeps landing on furniture days after cleaning, weak airflow from rooms at the end of a long run, or a duct that has pulled loose in the attic and is filling with insulation and outside dirt. A visit starts with the return, the filter slot and the blower area, since that is where most of the debris shows. We check for crushed flex, torn joints and blocked boots, clean what needs cleaning, then show you photos of before and after. Call us and we will schedule a look.

The duct cleaning symptoms we hear most

  • I dust on Monday and it is back by Wednesday Return leaks pulling attic and crawlspace dust into the duct system
  • Black streaks fanning out above the registers Dirty register boots, bypassing filter or fine soot and dust discharge
  • One bedroom never gets any air Crushed, disconnected or debris blocked branch run
  • There is a musty smell every time the AC starts Moisture in ductwork, wet insulation or a dirty coil and drain pan upstream
  • The registers look furry when I finally looked up Long term dust and lint buildup at vents and register faces

Search for it as duct cleaning or air duct cleaning and you land in the same place: one visit, one written quote.

Safe things to check first

Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.

  • 1Change the air filter and check that it fits the slot snugly with no gaps around the frame, since air going around a filter carries dust straight into the ducts.
  • 2Walk the house and confirm every supply register and return grille is fully open and not blocked by furniture, rugs or curtains.
  • 3Look at the thermostat settings and fresh batteries, and set the fan to auto rather than on if the system runs constantly and stirs dust.
  • 4Clear leaves, cottonwood, grass clippings and ag dust away from the outdoor unit so the system is not fighting for air before it ever reaches the ducts.

Duct Cleaning — quick answers

How do I know if my ducts actually need cleaning?

Pull a register cover and look inside with a flashlight. Loose dust film is normal. Matted debris, insulation scraps, visible mold growth or rodent evidence means it is worth a professional look. We will show you what we see before recommending anything.

Will duct cleaning fix my allergies?

We do not make health claims. Cleaning removes dust, insulation fibers and debris from the duct system, which helps IAQ if that debris is being blown into your rooms. Sealing leaky returns and using a properly fitted filter usually matters just as much.

How long does an air duct cleaning take?

Most single family homes run several hours depending on system size, number of registers and how many separate units serve the house. Two system homes with attic package equipment take longer. We give you a realistic window when we see the layout.

Do you clean the vents and registers too?

Yes. Vent and register cleaning is part of the work, and on some homes it is all that is needed. Register faces and boots collect the heaviest lint and dust because that is where air slows down and drops what it is carrying.

Can dirty ducts make my AC weaker?

Blocked branch runs, collapsed flex and debris packed boots all cut airflow, so rooms at the end of a run go warm while the system keeps running. Restricted return air also strains the blower. We check airflow while we are in the system.

How often should ducts be cleaned?

There is no fixed schedule. Homes with pets, heavy outdoor dust, recent remodeling or a history of duct damage need attention sooner. Many homes go many years and only need the registers and filter area handled. We would rather look than sell you a cycle.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill in the quote form. We ask what changed, when it started, and what the thermostat reads. That tells us whether to bring parts for a cooling fault or a heating fault.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose on site

A technician checks the thermostat, the electrical side, airflow through the filter and coil, refrigerant pressures, and the outdoor unit. You get told what failed and why, in plain words, before anything is replaced.

  3. Step 3

    Repair and verify

We make the repair, then run the system and measure the results at the vents. If a part needs ordering, we say so and give you a realistic window instead of a vague promise.

Why homeowners call us

  • Built for real valley heatWe work in areas where afternoons sit above 110 degrees and systems run for months without a break. That shapes how we size repairs, check capacitors and contactors, and judge whether a compressor is genuinely done.
  • Attic and package unitsPlenty of homes across the region run attic air handlers or rooftop package units instead of a garage furnace and a side-yard condenser. We are used to the access, the duct runs, and the drain issues those setups bring.
  • Dust and debris we expectAg dust, cottonwood fluff and grass clippings pack condenser coils and starve a system of airflow. We clean what we find and show you the difference, rather than adding refrigerant to a unit that just could not breathe.
  • Heating too, not only ACFurnace repair, heat pump faults and no-heat calls get the same attention as summer work. Ignition problems, cracked or failing components and short cycling all get diagnosed before we recommend anything larger.
  • All major brands, gas & electricFrom Carrier and Trane to Lennox, Goodman, Rheem and Bryant, serviced independently.
  • Straight answersWhen a replacement beats a repair, we tell you, sometimes before we roll a truck.
